The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for attracting top talent globally to CARE. The successful candidate will have a strategic outlook as well as outstanding operational skills and the ability to collaborate with business leaders in strategic candidate generation, effective branding, pipelining, workforce planning efforts, talent identification and attraction.
The Sr. Manager will partner closely with the Leader of Talent Management to ensure that efforts are globalized and streamlined. In this role, s/he will also work closely with the Executive Team and will be responsible for defining and executing upon the talent strategy. The ideal candidate will use past experience as an operator, advisor, and change agent to scale the process, analytics, and strategic plan aligned with the current and especially the forecasted talent needs of the organization as we evolve.
The person in this role will be able to adapt to global changes within the organization and must come equipped with global/international talent acquisition experience. S/he will work closely with country offices to grow and transform our talent ecosystem across our employee community, driving predictable outcomes while balancing innovation, efficiency, and quality. This position is accountable for providing leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to our leadership team as well as architecting, scaling, and executing talent acquisition efforts.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Global Talent Management
- Own the global candidate generation responsibility by developing and deploying strategic talent attraction initiatives.
- Manage key external resources and partnerships to meet talent needs and ensure high quality service delivery to hiring managers.
- Develop and deploy a compelling employment brand through multiple global channels; partner with Marketing and Communications resources as appropriate.

Team Leadership and Development
- Coach and develop the Talent Acquisition team (3-4) in the execution of recruitment to fulfill hiring requirements– ensuring a timely pipeline of global talent needed to meet the current and future needs of the business while improving time to fill, cost of hire, candidate flow and quality.
Leadership Development
- Partner with HR Business Partnerships & Learning Director, Diversity & Inclusion Lead and internal stakeholders to facilitate the internal movement of people into new opportunities as part of the promotion of talent at CARE.
- Steward the fellowship and internship programs
Qualfications:
- Minimum of a BS/BA degree required or equivalent combination of education and work experience; graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources with at least 8 years in a talent acquisition role and at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Track record of designing, implementing and leveraging talent acquisition strategies and best practices to help drive measurable business results. Demonstrates strong business acumen and deep understanding of business drivers
- Subject matter expert in end-to-end recruiting process with special emphasis on candidate generation (attraction, sourcing, and tracking). Refined working knowledge of screening and assessment, offer management, on-boarding, staffing process measurement and data management/reporting with a track record of success in process discipline and improvement.
- Knowledge of HR and Staffing related vendors and service providers, expertise in recruitment best practices. Thorough knowledge of external labor laws and internal staffing policies
- Track record of effectively coaching, developing, and mentoring high performing teams and building sustainable organizational capability in a talent-minded organization
- Ability to execute and deliver against demanding and dynamic stakeholder requirements. Strong financial acumen is required
- Relationship building skills with leadership; close collaboration with other internal business partners and external vendor management required; influencing and negotiation skills required.
- Highly polished verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to transcend between strategic thinking and operational excellence with a focus on quality and execution. High quality and attention to detail a must.
- Must demonstrate advanced technology skills, able to work comfortably in a variety of software applications; highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, office 365 as well as e-collaborative platforms. Working knowledge of ATS platforms is mandatory.
- Ability to travel occasionally; potential for international travel.
